Welcome to Memberās Pet Of The Week!
Every Wednesday, Iāll feature one of our community memberās pets, be they furry, scaly, or feathery!
From cats that can't resist a ball of yarn, to dogs who patiently sit by our side as we make, pets are often our companions in the creative process.
For the very first issue, we haveā¦ Seogi the dog!
Thank you so much to
for sharing her adorable Seogi with us this week. Over to you, Tashay!Seogi The Dog: ā Pet
Meet the little love of my life, Seogi (so-ghee). While living in New York, my wife and I adopted him at 4 months, heās now 5 years old.
The agency we got him from is called KoreanK9 which rescues dogs from the high kill shelters and meat trade in South Korea, where he was born.
Heās brought us so much joy over the last 5 years and is the sweetest and most loyal boy who makes our hearts melt every day.
Some of his favorite things are: playing with other dogs, Frosty Paws or Dogsters ice cream, peanut butter, and steak. He least likes the vet!
Thanks again, Tashay, for sharing!
Seogi's journey from South Korea to New York shows how amazing the bond with pets can be, no matter where they come from.
Do you have a rescue pet?
How did they come into your life?
Leave a comment or press reply. Iād love to hear about your beloved companion!
P.S. See you tomorrow to find out which members are featured nextā¦
Thank you so much for featuring Seogi, Jodie! Heās one of the greatest gifts life has ever given me so Iām always honored to share him with others. Along with hating the vet, he hates taking photos so Iām not sure how happy heād be knowing heās on the net. Good thing he doesnāt have Substack š
What a love Seogi is! I like his neckerchiefs. And especially like the picture where he is wearing the scarf with the red squares and pawprints. So much intelligence in those eyes. Thank you for sharing his story and the pics.
