I love the look of that Woodland Tweed Bare, and wonder if it would make a good throw.

It would certainly be a super cosy throw Nancy and I imagine a textured stitch pattern would show up well. :)

That’s another lovely post Jodie! I have used recycled sari silk in the past to crochet a bag. It’s certainly not for wearing next to skin, IMO. I love that you make slow and meticulous choices for your projects. Your son is hilarious. And he is 💯 right. Love the Knitpicks swatch as well. Waiting to see what you’ll come up with.

Hi Jodie,

I have had some of the recycled sari silk yarn in my stash for years and like you I could not envisage wearing it next to my skin. I have been using it as accents in crochet (baskets etc) and also to use instead of ribbon for gift wrapping.

I love the Norma Sweater and hope you will go for it and knit it. Aren't we silly to be doubting what we can wear or not, I love your son's answer, he got it 100% right. I cant wait what colours you choose.

Happy weekend, Heike xx

Those are great ideas for the use of the recycled silk Heike. Thanks for sharing. My doubts are a reminder there is more work to do on my storylines! Nothing like family telling you how it is :)
